Over the past few hours, there has been a lot of noise surrounding Barcelona and their reported interest in Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich, after Mundo Deportivo reported that the Bayern star wants to leave the club this summer and Barcelona being seriously interested in his transfer.

With Sergio Busquets leaving Barcelona on June 30, when his contract expires, Blaugrana are in the market for a new for a quality replacement for their captain, with Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi being Xavi’s preferred candidate, but the €60M price tag is making the deal unrealistic to happen for Barcelona.

It was suggested that Kimmich is unhappy with how things had gone at Bayern this season, especially with the sacking of Julian Nagelsmann earlier this season. It was even claimed that he would be very open to joining Xavi’s project at Barcelona.

However, according to a fresh update from BILD, Bayern Munich will not sell Joshua Kimmich even if they are offered a sum of €100 million for his services.

Bayern have no desire to let go of their ace midfielder and wish to keep him at the club. So much so that they are prepared to turn down offers of around €100 million for the German international.

However, names such as Martin Zubimendi, Sofyan Amrabat, and Ruben Neves have been doing the rounds for a while now, and If there is no chance for a move for Kimmich, Barcelona could push for Amrabat, while Neves continues to remain an option as well even though manager Xavi is not fully convinced by him, per recent reports by the Spanish Media.
