Real Madrid’s latest signing, 18-year-old Turkish talent Arda Guler has cancelled his summer holiday to report for Real Madrid preseason training, as unveiled earlier by Diario AS.
The teenage midfielder, who was chased by a number of top European clubs this summer, including Barcelona, was unveiled by Los Blancos and club president Florentino Perez last week.
At his official unveiling with his visibly emotional family in tow, Guler expressed his excitement at signing for the historic club, leaping to the lectern next to club president Florentino Perez before the Los Blancos supremo was finished with his speech.
On his presentation, Guler has expressed his desire to become a “legend” at the Bernabeu, claims that he sees a lot of Modric and Guti in himself and is confident of delivering on the big stage.
So, as the 18-year-old young star reportet for training, he immedietly impressed the whole football web, making the fans shocked on his skills, shooting and movements.
The fans also highlighted the clip, where Guler received the ball during rondo and flicked a pass with his back heel to completely fool Alvaro Odriozola.
Oh, and what about that turn and finish from today’s training session, that Real Madrid have just uploaded?
According to stats website Opta, Guler created 40 goalscoring chances – one every 23 minutes – over the last season which is the best average on record by a player in a Super Lig season since 2014/15.
