Fans had begun to gather at the stadium early in the morning ahead of his expected arrival.The World Cup winner is expected to put pen to paper on a two and a half year deal, reported to be worth $60 million a year, before being presented to fans at a stadium event on Sunday.

According to reports from Gaston Edul, Inter Miami will officially present Lionel Messi as their new player on July 16th. However, it’s not concrete if he will make his debut for the team until later in the month when they face off against Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup on July 21st, but the Argentinian journalist says it’s possible.
So until Lionel Messi prepares for his Inter Miami presentation, going for a night out in one of Miami’s restaurants, a fan stopped the football icon to take a selfie on the street and as he held up the camera to take a snapshot, he took the opportunity to kiss him on the cheek.
‘Leo, I love you man. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for so much,’ the follower told Messi in Spanish.
Messi seemed largely unfazed for the moment and walked away to catch up with his wife Antonela and their three children.
